Life and Leadership Consulting (LLC) is a program that developed after a project group from Leadership Reno County’s (LRC) Spring 2008 Class asked us to be the volunteer base to facilitate a Life Skills program. The project group prepared the Life Skills curriculum and helped organize the first session for the pilot program at the Boys & Girls Club in Summer 2008.

Consulting is available for any group or organization to request throughout the year. The curriculum is geared to serve youth and teens and we will continue to develop different life and leadership skills topics as needs arise. Each session lasts approximately an hour and groups can select one, a few or all of the session topics. The topics include:

• Job interviewing
• Finance
• Shopping for food
• Shopping for clothing
• College preparation
• Volunteerism

TThis is a great opportunity for youth in Reno County to interact with young leaders, excited to work with young adults to strengthen their leadership and life skills.
