A major component of global warming is the disruption of normal weather patterns. Experienced any of these types of changes lately?

That's just not working for me. Going back in recorded weather, we still have record lows, and record highs that were established back in the early part of 1900. Crazy weather is just a part of the natural climate of our planet. I haven't seen one conclusive study that proves abnormal weather is a product of global warming.

Sounds like you're basing your opinion on what you've observed in Hutchinson, Ks. It's called global warming for a reason. You've touched upon a very polarizing subject. You'll find an overwhelming amount of information on the internet and at the local library coming from both camps. The fact is the climate is changing; whether this is a natural phenomenon or not can be argued. What can't be argued is that we're not helping the situation with the amount of pollution we're spewing into the environment. Do your part in your little corner of the world and make it a better place.

I've actually seen some of those reports in other places. Another theory I've seen is the distance of the moon, and the effects it has on our climate as it drifts farther from us each year. That's really interesting, and documented proof of the effects it has on our climate. I'm not bashing recycling, or cutting down on waste. I think it's great to make our life cleaner, and more enjoyable. I just think it's bunk that the idea of man made emissions is slowing killing our planet.
